National Training Register – RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations

What you will be doing during this course:  Plan and prepare for excavator operations, complete a hazard inspection, select and wear PPE,  operate an excavator in line with established requirements, lift, carry and place materials to complete work activities, complete pre-start inspection form, select, remove, fit and use attachments for an excavator, park up, shut down and secure procedures, prepare to relocate the excavator, carry out post operational inspections and conduct housekeeping activities.

What you will be doing during this short course: Prepare for gas testing, complete a hazard inspection, select and wear PPE, select and inspect a gas detector, test gas, use a gas detector to test atmospheres, take readings and record data by completing a gas test record form and clean and maintain gas testing equipment.  This unit is also delivered with the unit of competency: RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces.
Duration: 4 hours to 1 day (Monday to Sunday)
